As many of you have noticed while accessing the USAF Enlisted Promotion Study Guides, there is now a notification indicating that, in compliance with recent Executive Orders from the President, a thorough review of all relevant curriculum is underway. This development comes at a particularly challenging time for those preparing for SSgt or TSgt, since many testing windows open in early February. However, the official announcement acknowledges the difficulties this may pose and reassures Airmen that updated materials will be available by 15 February 2025.
Why the Rescission?
The Air Force is conducting an in-depth review to ensure the handbook aligns with current policies and directives. As a result, Air Force Handbook 1 (AFH 1) has been temporarily rescinded. This means it is no longer considered the official or fully accurate source of study material. However, some of you may still prefer to reference it for general knowledge until new materials are released.
Download the Older Version (At Your Own Risk)
While we wait for the updated AFH 1, you can still download the older, rescinded version here: Download AFH 1 – Older Edition
Disclaimer: Because this handbook is rescinded, it may not align with current policies, and content could be subject to change. Studying from this source is at your own risk, so please stay alert for updates and the official release of new materials.

I'm no stranger to suffering. I just want to know how long it typically takes after obtaining a mandatory 5 level to change my shred and gtfo of Dyess or Ellsworth or whatever icy pit of hell big blue wants to send me. I'm prior service and I'm an E-4. submitted by /u/AnthonyCoolzone [link] [comments]
Throwaway cause my AFSC is pretty small. I don't usually write stuff like this but it's gotten to a point where I need to express my woes somewhere. I've been a SrA for about a year or two and I would say I've gotten decent at my job. I completed my CDCs (bare minimum I […]
Been running into this problem for months. The current biggest impact (right now) is that I can't schedule a PFA or view any past scores. MyFSS doesn't seem to have any of my info entered correctly. I can log in with my CAC and log back out, but nothing seems to be tied to the […]
