Read MoreUpdate — LES Access Restored in MyPay
DFAS has resolved the recent LES access issue. Reserve & Active Military Members can now view LES for October 1st and prior in MyPay.
“Only Leave and Earnings Statements (LES) October 1st and prior are available in myPay. We will announce here when the current LES becomes available. Thank you for your patience.”— Official DFAS notice
If you’ve logged into MyPay recently, you might’ve noticed that the Leave and Earnings Statement (LES) module is currently disabled; meaning Airmen and Guardians can’t retrieve their LES at the moment.
This issue has already caused problems for those needing proof of income for loans or other financial verifications. But thanks to a grassroots effort by a group of Finance Airmen, there’s now a temporary workaround to get your LES safely and securely.

📨 How to Request Your LES
A group of Air Force Finance professionals has set up an official org box to help service members get access to their LES while MyPay is being fixed.
👉 Email: [email protected] – No Longer Valid
Requirements:
-
Email from your .mil address only.
To protect your privacy and ensure proper verification, personal (.com, .edu, etc.) emails will not be accepted. -
Include your DoDID (optional but recommended).
This helps speed up the lookup process. -
Specify which month(s) you need.
You can request multiple months if necessary — but remember:“Don’t ask for October… that doesn’t exist.” 😅 -SgtKnux
-
Be patient.
The inbox is being monitored by about two dozen Finance professionals across the world, so you may get more than one response depending on who picks up your request.
🪐 Who Can Use This Workaround
✅ All Air Force and Space Force components:
-
Active Duty
-
Guard
-
Reserve
❌ Not available for sister services (Army, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard).
🧾 Alternative Option: PSMC on MyPay
-
If you have OPSEC concerns or just need proof of income for a lender, you can instead use the Personal Statement of Military Compensation (PSMC) available on MyPay. It provides a summary of your military pay and benefits and can serve as a temporary replacement for your LES in most cases.
💬 Final Thoughts
The LES outage on MyPay is tied to the ongoing government shutdown. DFAS temporarily disabled LES access to avoid confusion — instead of showing “$0” for midmonth pay, they chose to hide it entirely.
While frustrating, this is a temporary measure to protect accuracy and prevent misunderstandings about pay during the shutdown. LES access should return once normal operations resume.
Until then, Airmen and Guardians can use the Finance workaround or the PSMC statement on MyPay as proof of income.
